So - just back from a sojourn in NSW - stopped in: Brisbane, Narrabri, Forbes, Cooma, Merimbula, Moruya, Nowra, Sydney, Grafton, Brisbane, Hervey Bay, pulling a small caravan.

Purpose: exploring the South coast NSW - truly beautiful.
Highlights:
- Watched the Broncos / Cowboys game in Suncorp Stadium - what an atmosphere 40k+ spectators
- Newell Highway good - visited the Dish at Parkes
- Great drive from Tumut to Cooma over the Snowy Mountains
- South Coast: many beautiful places to see we used Merimbula, Moruya, and Nowra as bases to check out those areas
- Great golf course in Moruya
- Good van parks along the way.
- Nowra - Kangaroo Valley - Bowral- Sydney a good drive.
- NSW drivers are much more considerate on multi lane highways than the Queensland counterparts - sorry to have to admit it!
- Small common rail diesel SUV's are the go pulling small caravans averaged about 12 l / 100km towing.
