Latin Visiting Melbourne During First Week(+) Of December '11

Hello all,



I'm a 29 years old guy visiting Melbourne for several days at the beginning of this December. I'm coming from Holland but I'm from latinamerica. I'm visiting Melbourne on a business trip, but I'd love to get to know the city and its people more on the local level. I'd love to meet new people, make friends and have some fun during those days and maybe a bit after since I'd like to stay few days longer on my own... I've heard that the city is awesome but any recommendation to do/go/see/taste/try/etc is very welcome. I'm a single and active guy, kind of nerdy apparently, who likes many things like sporting, dancing, city sight seeing, photographing, movie watching, beer/coffee, etc, etc...



I hope somebody can suggest some nice things to do there during my visit... what about the surroundings of Melbourne as well?

Hi guys, well. I just arrive yesterday night and the first thing I noticed was many people in shorts and drinking on the streets, like spring breakers. That's not really my type, so if somebody still wants to show me around (more like a local) it would be nice. So, please send a mail.
