Hello All,
I'm a 25 year old female that has been in Melbourne about 9 months. I moved across for work with my (now) ex-partner. It's taken me a while to settle in, especially since my partner hated it here.
Now that I'm single and free, I really want to meet new people, make great friends and start exploring and really enjoying Melbourne. It's my 2012 resolution!!
I'm an open and honest person. I'm willing to give anything a try and am pretty easy going. I love reading, walking, hanging out with friends, going to the movies, or staying in and watching movies. I love going out for drinks with friends and just catching up and interacting with others.

Sorry to hear about your break-up but good on ya for bouncing back and wanting to meet new people and such. I'm new to Melbourne myself (about 7 months). Great Resolutions, and mine are pretty much the same! Just got here about 6 weeks ago. Loving it, but would like some people to meet up with and enjoy the area

Heya Jess (and everyone else)! That's a fantastic resolution - there's so much to see and explore in Melbourne, it's definitely a great idea to make the most out of that! :-D I'm looking to expand my social circle and meet new friends to hang out, grab a drink, check out restaurants/bars with... we should all get out some time! :-)

Hey Jess, I totally know how you feel, my boyfriend & I just recently broke up. I've been in Melbourne for 6 months now & I too have made the decision that I really want to get together a great group of friends to do & see everything Melbourne has to offer. I am 27 Male, been in Melbourne since the last 5 years, and work full time in IT. Most of my friends are married an settled down now, and not up for much fun anymore. And I am now looking to make some new friends and have fun.
I am an easy going person and into movies, going out to restaurants, catching up for coffee/drinks, travel, festivals, arts, clubbing etc.

Hey there,
I'm Mark a 25 year old well travelled English guy currently living in Northcote, Melbourne.
I arrived only a month ago and looking for cool people, both male and female around my age to hangout with. I'm very much a social person, spending time with my mates, but I'm also a hard working person, I like good food and drink, travelling, the arts, coffee, photography, cars, F1, mountain biking, adventures, road trips, the beach, scuba diving and shopping.
I've got a background in design & engineering and starting a new job in Hawthorn next week for at least the next 6 months.
Someone should arrange a group meet :-)
