Celebrate International Day of People with a Disability - In Melbourne
Circus Oz will be running workshops for people of all abilities (12 years old and above) including juggling, hula hoop and theatre games at BMW Edge, Federation Square, Melbourne on Sunday 3 December 2006.
The activities are part of the celebrations of International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD). The aims of the day are:
* To showcase the ability, contributions and achievements of people with disability
* To promote a positive image of people with disability
* To involve people with disability and the broader community in activities to celebrate and raise awareness of the Day
2006 is the 25th anniversary of International Day of People with Disability.
The activities at Federation Square will run from 2.00pm - 3.30pm, with registration starting at 1.15pm. Auslan interpreters will be available.
