Suzuki Night Market
The Suzuki Night Market is now on every Wednesday until 28 February 2007. The exception is Wednesday 27 December 2006, when it will be closed.
The Night Market, which is held at the Queen Victoria Market premises, boasts terrific food, bars and wineries, free entertainment, lots of shopping, an area dedicated to the mind, body and spirit, and a regional food showcase.
The market opens from 5.30pm-10pm. Pedestrian entry is available from the corner of Queen and Therry Streets, and Peel Street, and it is free to attend.
Food
Over 30 stalls prepare fresh food on-site from a range of cuisines, including: Indian, Vietnamese, Ethiopian, Spanish, Dutch and Middle Eastern.
Bars and Wineries
Three fully licensed bars are on-site. A range of Victoria's regional vineyards are represented.
Free Entertainment
Two stages showcasing the best world music and live entertainment that Melbourne has on tap!
Shopping
Over 150 vendors offering clothing, jewellery, original prints, plants and much more.
Health and Harmony
An area dedicated to mind, body and spirit â you can enjoy a massage, visit a tarot or aura readers. Reflexology and iridology practitioners are also at hand.
Regional Food
Includes wonderful chutneys, mustards, olive oils, fudge and both fresh and dried fruit.
