Australian International Airshow 2007 - Melbourne, Avalon
2007 marks the 60th anniversary of the breaking of the sound barrier! The Australian International Airshow 2007 will salute those with the right stuff in a very special way.
The Australian International Airshow will be held at Avalon Airport, Victoria from the 20th March to the 25th March 2007.
Avalon Airport is located on Princes Freeway between Melbourne and Geelong.

The Australian International Airshow 2007 features commercial, military, recreational and sporting aircraft from around the world in their flying display. Flying Display times are as follows:

General admission tickets and Gold Passes may be purchased for The Australian International Airshow 2007 in advance through Ticketmaster.
General admission tickets may be purchased at the Airshow entrance gates on the day of your attendance.

- F-111 strike bombers, FA-18 Hornets, BAE Hawks and a host of support aircraft.
- United States Air Force appearance.
- Individual and formation parachute displays.
- Spitfires and Mustangs.
- Mock "dog fights".
- Aircraft from the Korean and Vietnam eras.
- Static and tarmac displays will feature almost a thousand aircraft.
- Latest combat jets to experimental and historic aircraft.
- Military vehicles, cannon and ground warfare technology.
- Boeing 'Night Alight' spectacular.
- Aerobatic acts.
- F-111 performs its famous 'dump and burn' as a massive wall of fire erupts along the flight line.

- Exhibition times 9am to 5pm Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday and 9am to 2pm on Friday
- Flying demonstrations Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm
- Open to the public in the afternoon only (from 2pm)
