Melbourne International Motor Show 2007

The Melbourne International Motor Show is a flagship event for the Australian automotive industry. The first Melbourne International Motor Show was back in 1925 and the event is one of the longest running Motor Shows in the world. The Motor Show is Victoria's biggest indoor event. It features Australia's passenger car manufacturers and major vehicle importers. Ticketing for the 2007 Melbourne International Motor Show will open mid December.
Over the past ten years the Motor Show has attracted over 2.3 million visitors to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. The Motor Show occupies the entire 30,000 square metre exhibition hall together with the glass-walled Concourse and various outdoor exhibit areas.
For the duration of the Motor Show, classic motoring vehicles will be on display in the magnificent glass-walled concourse of the Melbourne Exhibition Centre and on Monday 12th March, many of these vehicles will be auctioned on site at the Show.
In 2007, Shannons will again present the Melbourne International Motor Show Auction of vintage and classic vehicles at the Show. Now considered a traditional part of our event, these wonderful vehicles are an added attraction for patrons.
Over 300 semi trailer loads of equipment is delivered to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre to build exhibitor stands for the Motor Show. Approximately 500 motor vehicles will be displayed when the displays are completed!
