42nd ANNUAL VICTORIAN HOT ROD SHOW
JANUARY 2007
The 42nd Annual Victorian Hot Rod Show will be held in January 2007. The event is being promoted by the Victorian Hot Rod Association. If you are interested in showing off your wheels, you will be glad to know the show is open to all Hot Rods, Customs, Street Machines, Competition Vehicles & Motor Bikes.
The event will be held at the beautiful Royal Exhibition Building, Melbourne. The show dates and times are:
Friday January 26 - 12noon-10pm
Saturday January 27 - 10am-10pm
Sunday January 28 - 10am-6pm

TROPHIES. MERCHANDISE AND PRIZE MONEY:
Trophies, Merchandise and Prize money to an approximate value of $45,000 will be distributed among entrants. The time, date and relevant details regarding trophy presentations will be given in a later advice sheet.
CLUB STAND AWARDS:
Club Stand Awards will be presented as follows:-
1st $1200.00 Award plus Trophy
2nd $700.00 Award
3rd $350.00 Award
Note: To be eligible for this award the Club Stands must meet the minimum requirements as set by the Promoter. In the event of Club Stands not meeting the minimum standards, Australian Street Rod Federation Stewards may rule no 2nd or 3rd placing to be awarded. In this event, the prize money for the awards not made will be re-allocated as follows: 1st placing only: $2,250.00. lst and 2nd placing only: 1st $1.400.00. 2nd $860.00.
INDIVIDUAL DISPLAYS:
Cash Awards will be presented as follows:
1st $500.00 Award plus Trophy
2nd $300.00 Award
3rd $200.00 Award
Note: To be eligible for the individual Display Awards Stands must meet the minimum requirements as set by the promoter.
COMPETITION ENTRY FEE: Entry Fee $45. Completed Entry Form, Entry Fee and a current photo of vehicle is to be forwarded to the Show Manager, VHRA Ltd. PO Box 34, Oakleigh Victoria 3166. The entry fee will be refunded after the show.
JUDGING FEE: A Judging Fee of $25.00 must be paid in addition to the Entry Fee if you wish to have your car judged, although all entrants will be eligible for stand display prizes. This fee is not refundable.

The 2007 Victorian Hot Rod Show has a great colouring in competition for the kids. Trophies will be awarded to the winner in each of the following categories âUnder 5, Under 10, Under 15 and Open.
Completed entries can only be received at the Show office on the following dates, 26 -28 January 2007 and cannot be left with ticket box operators or security guards. Competition winners will be posted on the VHRA web site
