Tianjin Dancing Kite Festival (Melbourne)
Melbourne will celebrate its city to city relationship with Tianjin on with a Tianjin Dancing Kite Festival at Royal Park on Sunday, 21 January 2007.
Events will include lion dancing, kung fu, fortune telling, ribbon dancing, traditional kite displays, traditional Chinese music, kite making and Chinese cuisine.
With special thanks to the Chinese Museum.
When: Sunday, 21 January, noon to 4pm (Lion Dancing at 1pm and 3pm.)
Where: Royal Park, Native Garden, Gatehouse Street Parkville. Melway reference 2B A3.
