Hi,
Myself and family are emigrating to Melbourne once our visa comes through and I am hoping to get some advice. I am wondering what the best suburbs are for government primary schools? I have done a little research and am liking the look of :
Bentleigh
Bentleigh East
Cheltenham
Ormond
McKinnon
Highett
(The houses in these suburbs are within our price range for buying)
We also like Sandringham, Hampton, Brighton East, Camberwell (but these are perhaps a little too expensive in terms of what we want).
Can anyone advise on what would be the best suburb out of these? Our budget is $500,000 and we would be wanting a 3-bed minimum house.
Also, I have a slight fear of spiders! I have been researching this as I was considering not emigrating because of this but I have been reassured that you rarely see 'deadly' spiders. I know white tails are pretty common there - do you see much of them indoors? In this department, which suburbs should be avoided in terms of being too close to bush/parklands?
Thanks for any advice!
Jill
