The largest film event on the summer calender is here! The world's largest short film festival, Sony Tropfest, returns to the big screen in front of a national audience of friends, family and film fans alike. Now in it's 15th year, Sony Tropfest showcases the work of 16 of the country's most talented filmmakers whose films have been selected to headline the festival.
The full day's entertainment commences from 3pm with a great live DJ, band and MC's and festival goers should head down early to enjoy the day's events before settling down to watch the 16 finalists short films beamed live via satellite from Sydney.
NOTE: The festival receives a classification exemption from the Office of Film and Literature Classification. Some of the films may contain course language, violence or sexual references. It is recommended for mature audiences of 15 years and over.
It is expected that over 150,000 people will come together on Sunday 18th February 2007 to view 16 finalist films, selected from more than 600 entries at venues in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra and Hobart.
