Hi everyone, i'm really glad to find this forum as i'm hoping to visit Australia sometime soon and i want to find out more about it so i can plan where to go on my trip. It would be nice to read more opinions from people who actually live there rather than just the typical views you get in travel brochures. Look forward to getting to know everyone here too.

I've lived in Melbourne for about 20 years now. I'm not the right person to be asking though if you're looking for a social life, lol. I prefer to stay at home. I've recently went to a club and the music's not bad. You have to be careful though, lots of people go clubbing and it can get a bit crowded depending on where you go (especially in the city). Catching public transport isn't a problem, after midnight can be a problem when services stop.



Something I'd like to do in the day time is visit the zoo, hehe. Whenever I'm bored I usually just travel and walk around the city. I'm not sure about amusement parks, it's pretty lame if you don't have friends with you.
