Melbourne Immigrants

Hi

I obviously know of the increasing number of UK immigrants heading down under but what other nationalities have a large presence in the city?

In melbourne we have people of all races. We have a large asian community. Seems like they are mostly from hong kong, mainland china and vietnam. Also we have other asian countries here too.



Also lots of maltese, lebanese, italian, greeks. Recently we are getting more refugees. I think they might be from Sudan. They stand out a bit since they are so skinny and tall!



We also have lots of indians and sri lankans. Also we have lots of Serbs and Croatians.



They are the main ones I can think of. But I am sure we have lots more races in Australia. Everyone seems to get along very well and I don't really notice any racial tension.
