Melbourne Victory in the A League, Melbourne 2007
#1
2007 Hyundai A-League - Melbourne Victory

Melbourne Victory, fresh from becoming the first team to secure the Hyundai A-League double (Premiership and Championship) look to the 2007/08 season with great optimism.

Not only did Melbourne become the Hyundai A-League’s most successful Club on the park, but the Club set new standards off the park too.

The 55,436 who attended the Grand Final at Telstra Dome set an all-time record for the most number of people to watch a domestic Australian football match.

Victory’s crowd of 50,333 in Round 16 was the highest number of people to ever watch a regular season match in Australian football history.

Victory has captured the city’s imagination like no other sporting club, uniting all football fans under one banner for the first time.

Melbourne Victory is the hottest ticket in town, with an atmosphere unmatched by any other code. Make sure you’re part of the action as the Hyundai A-League season kicks off in the last weekend of August.
