This event operates Saturday from 7am to 5pm.
Volunteer your feet and raise funds for five not-for-profit organisations doing great things in the community! Teams of four can register for the Ampersand Walk, a 30km endurance challenge taking place around Melbourneâs Capital City Trail on Saturday 6th October.
Commencing at Birrarung Marr near Flinders Street Station, the course follows the Yarra River to Yarra Bend Park and Merri Creek, the former Inner Circle rail reserve to Royal Park, and Moonee Ponds Creek, The Docklands and Southbank.
Teams commit to raising $400 for the organisation they most want to support â Ardoch Youth Foundation, Australian Red Cross, Edmund Rice Camps, Student Partnerships Worldwide or SYN. Visit www.ampersand.org.au/TheWalk to register your team. A $25 per-person administration fee applies. The Ampersand Walk is an initiative of the Ampersand Network, a dynamic, youth-run organisation, committed to improving young peopleâs access to volunteering.
