Melbourne Chorale continues its exploration of Mozart's choral work with his great Requiem.
Though left incomplete at Mozart's death, the music produced is an intense and deeply lyrical meditation on death. Joining Melbourne Chorale for this concert is the Australian National Academy of Music Orchestra, the cream of Australia's musical talent directed by one of the country's finest violinists, William Hennessy, who will direct a performance of Bela Bartok's masterpiece for strings - Divertimento.
