Any idea when the Melbourne Cup Carnival happens? Normally it's around October or November if memory serves me well.

Yes Melbourne Cup is not too far away now.



As far as I know the key race days are:



Derby Day (Saturday 3 Nov 2007)

Melbourne Cup (Tuesday 6 Nov 2007)

Oaks Day (Ladies Day) (Thursday 8 Nov 2007)

Stakes Day (Saturday 10 Nov 2007)



Of course the Melbourne Cup is the big day as far as horse racing goes. But I believe the ladies fashion comes to the fore on Oaks Day.
