Melbourne Trading Post
Not too long ago, I sold my car on the Melbourne Trading Post. It had quite a bit of sentimental value but I had moved on to a bigger and better (and newer) car and so it was time to go our separate ways. I sold the car through the good ol' Melbourne Trading Post and it was a very good sale experience. First person who came to see the car bought it. We did the usual tussle over money but the bargaining was fairly straight forward and a $50 discount sealed the deal.
I used the Trading Post website to sell the car and I placed the ad in the hard copy newspaper also.
One thing I didn't know was if you sell something in the trading post, then they have your details so they keep emailing you special deals! Only I had nothing else to sell! So anyway, keep it in mind if you are a seller. Because sometimes the special offers were pretty good.
