Melbourne At Christmas
#1
Well folks - before you know it, it will be Christmas again!

What's Melbourne like at Christmas Glen? Are they're any festivals or christmas carnivals?

Would it be a good time to visit Melbourne?

Hi Mel,

Christmas in Melbourne is a good time to visit. The weather is good. People are mostly in a good mood because they are on holidays. Only hassle is that much of the holiday accommodation will be booked out with holiday makers so you really need to book your accommodation well ahead of time.

Carols by Candlelight is a big event with lots of people attending. There are not many other big public events that I can think of. For most people it is a family time when they have backyard BBQ and invite the relatives and in-laws. Or they get out of the city and have a holiday at the beach or maybe in the Victorian countryside.

If you decide to come down to Melbourne, I hope you have a great trip!
