Hello Fitz! I have some questions about migrating to Au, so maybe you can give me some advice...

I am 22 (almost 23) and live in Bosnia, and my father lives in Melbourne for almost 9 years. Last year (in september) I applied for a family child visa (Subclass 101) hoping that I will have no problems with it since my father is an australian citizen.

But, two months later I got the refusal and the reason for that was because I did not had a proof that my father financially supported me for the last few years, and that was a prerequisite. So now I'm in that situation that I'm really not sure what to do, what are the other options that are available for me, if there are any... So if you have any advice or some pointers for me, I would really appreciate if you can share it with me...

Thank you in advance.

Ow, Sorry about that. Why not visit Australia at once. And try to locate you family member/relatives either. maybe it would be easier for you to go to Australia get a working Visa. maybe chances is there and allows you to migrate.

So in other words, you would suggest to go and Visit Australia, make some friends, find a job, and then try to get a Visa?

I am a Polish lad 19 years old in September and I live in the UK for about 5 years. I would love to move to Australia and it's my way to go through life. But I kind of find it difficult without knowing basically any one and being not sure about finding the job... So yeah, it would be really helpful to find some sort of help on this Forum.
