Voters in the ACT have voted 60% to Labor and 40% to Libs!

What does this mean?

If they are correct then does that mean that most of the country's Lib voters are wrong?

And thus are idiots?

Or that more likely they (ATC) live in la la land?

No it means lots of public servants in the ACT voted Labor because they didn't want a Liberal government to sack 12,000 people. It is quite understandable!

I would not be superprised if they get rid of a lot more than 12,000. These things take time. Give it another year and the sackings will begin.

Well that is only possible for some people. Some Government careers don't translate well into the private sector. For example, if you work in customs then I don't think there is much demand for your skills outside of Government.

Younger ones are more likely to move and the older ones will try and ride out to retirement.
