History Of 400-412 City Rd Southbank

Hey,



I was wondering if anyone knew the past uses and functions of a large block of land in Southbank. It is bounded by Cecile St, Whiteman ST and City Rd (400-412).



If anyone could shed some light and wisdom on this it would be very helpful.

OK I am starting to have a look.



First of all I found a reference to the property in the Port Phillip Planning Scheme which is a bit unusual I think

There are lots of photos of old buildings here but I could not find your address but maybe I did not look hard enough

I guess you could go to the local council (Port Phillip) and see if they can assist further. Hope this helped a bit. Or maybe there are some books written about the history of the area.
