The AM stations are there as well but the abbreviations are probably overdone.

With the next one I'll mark the AM stations but in a nutshell 3AW, ABC774, SEN, Magic1278, 3MP, Newsr and 3RN are all on AM



Newsr (newsradio) is at 1.8%



My pick would either be Goldfm or 3AW and Melbourne also has very good community radio stations but they are not listed.

Here's the news ------------- 3AW presenter misses bulletin for Facebook!

"Questions were asked and the reader said she had 'computer problems'. Further investigations by the IT team found she was on Facebook at the time,'' the insider said.



Management at 3AW promptly sent a memo to all staff instructing them to stay off Facebook unless they were using it for research.

Looks like Foxfm has been able to continue its lead over the talk station - 3AW which surprises me because with the current financial crisis you would think people would move acroos to talk radio to hear the latest news.......

Strong result for the ABC mostly due to the cricket and bushfire coverage.

True, but I quite like listening to a lot of the community stations that are available in Melbourne.

They seem to offer a bit more variety than radio in Sydney for instance <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Actually I do listen to Newsradio before 8:30 but I regard that as National. I can't get into Community Radio. In fact I listen to a lot of radio on the internet.
