Australian Netball Test Series - Melbourne Oct 2008



Australian netball fans get their first chance to watch their World Champions stars on home soil, when they contest the Holden Netball Test Series in October.



Led by new captain Sharelle McMahon, the youthful Australian Team faces a challenging month of top class action coming off an International Series in New Zealand and then fronting up against world number three England in Adelaide and Newcastle, and arch rivals the New Zealand Silver Ferns in Melbourne and Brisbane.



Australia last met England in the semi-finals of the 2007 World Netball Championship and went on to win a thrilling final against the Silver Ferns 42-38 on November 17 in Auckland.

1) Saturday 4 October - Australia vs England

(Newcastle Entertainment Centre)



2) Sunday 26 October - Australia vs New Zealand

(Hisense Arena, Melbourne)

Please note the game time has been changed to 3.10pm.



3) Sunday 2 November - Australia vs New Zealand

(Brisbane Entertainment Centre)

Does anyone know if the games against new zealand and england are going to be on TV?



Very Poor effort by the TV networks not to pick it up as nothing has been mentioned and or no one has brought the rights to it yet!

it appears the international series is only televised in NZ and ENGLAND not AUSTRALIA not even on PAY TV.

How about you actually do some research before criticising.



Channel 10 showed the previous two tests against England delayed.

Channel 10 are showing the next two tests against NZ LIVE on both their SD and HD channels
