I got a book from the library today about gemstones of victoria. so if i find anything good i will let you know!

No I did not see that street mentioned. But I was suprised to read that Gembrook is named after gems in a brook! But emerald is NOT named after emeralds.

 

Did you know we have sapphires in Victoria? I had no idea. Apparently they are sometimes lying on the beach amongst the sand! They mention Pt Leo as one spot where they can be found.
