Good work. I eat eggs aswell, although very very rarely.

I drink milk though.

My aim is to gradually wean myself off all dairy and go vegan again. I was vegan in my early 20's and lost alot of weight due to being on student money and not eating correctly. Thus, now as i work i plan to be free of all animal products.

I often feel that being vegetarian is simply not enough. If we are really sreious about animal welfare issues then we would not consume dairy. Do you agree with this view?

Of course, most of the vegans i know, or knew, were complete *******, scenesters who wouldn't eat dairy but drank tonnes of beer thus cancelling out the 'no animal derived products' ideal. Hmmm, VB - love that fish oil!!! (not)

Anyhoo, enough ranting. Speak again.

is there really fish oil in beer? i never heard of that one before.

here is another possible angle of attack....i am guessing the yeast they use to make the beer dies during the fermentation process and therefore it could be labelled cruel (at least cruel to the yeast!!) though i guess the yeast would die happy! <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
