Hi there,
My wife and I relocated to Melbourne 5 months back and currently live in the St. kilda area. While we love the area, this was only a short term option. We are now looking for another place to rent, long term. We are looking for a 2 bedroom house/flat within a budget of $300pw.. family oriented and safe area near public transport, as my wife works in Melbourne CBD and I work in Mt. Waverly.. we are looking to move to an area thats reasonably close to the above. Also, beaches/cafes/nightlife/pubs are not high on our priority list for shortlisting areas.
