Pulled my left quad on the treadmill earlier today after increasing my interval training speed by .1 km/h... really disappointed in myself cause not only was my run reduced to 8 minutes, I could not finish my session with 10 minutes on the row machine. Stretching only after each session might not be enough any more...

... what's up with you fortunatefool?

Wow, that sucks about your quad.

Hopefully your quad will be back to functioning capacity in no time!

I'm just cruising today and taking it easy...no muscle tearing for me!

I will be running again today with a nice stretch beforehand (I didn't actually tear a muscle... just a pinch) and besides, my running today will be constant rather than interval and easier on the legs.. the real test will be Thursday when I attempt the interval at the .1 speed increase again.

On a different subject, hows the brilliance of this years footy ad on television where the game is played through a gamut of other sports?

It's amazing.

It totally shows that AFL is more action packed than any other sport on TV.

Whats your favourite part of it?

I like the horse-race scene...

I've been mesmerized by the entire commercial.. um.. the bull fighting scene is pretty unexpected not that any part of the commercial is expected 'cept in the context of brilliance.

I had to watch the commercial (http://www.afl.com.au/video/inaleagueofi...fault.aspx) a few times to pick a favourite scene... so hard to since all the scenes are uniquely brilliant, some other favourites were the American football and soccer, and the absurdity of the 4WD rally scene.
