Hail To Channel 9 And The Da Vinci Code Movie
#1
Finally someone is taking advantage of the broadcasting technologies available to us. Last night I was really surprised when I started watching The Da Vinci Code and my amplifier automatically switch the audio to Dolby Surround. It was the first time that happened when I'm watching movies in whichever TV channel. I hope Channel 9 and the others use this feature more often. I loved it and the sound was first rate. Just a shame there were so many breaks for the usual ads. And speaking of ads, I'm getting really ******* off with Austar showing more and more ads between programs. Isn't enough the fortune we pay them every month to keep them going ? My digital set top box recorder decided to have a conniption and not record The Da Vinci Code (though I have already seen the film a couple of times) as preset by the record planner.

Channel 90 is the high definition channel 9 channel that would have broadcast a better quality transmission.

I went completely off Foxtel when they began to periodically increase the rates of commercials... very sinister revenue raising.
