Korean Hairdresser Melbourne
#1
Hey guys,

I know that Korean hair styles are usually pretty cool and whacky. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a Korean Hairdresser in Melbourne?

A friend of mine is pretty interested.

Personally I wanna just keep shaving my hair I think. It is too convenient to stop!!!
Regarding #2 on the list, Orange (Range?) Hair Salon Box Hill, I would have to say avoid at all costs!

I am from China and my stylist at Orange Hair was a native Mandarin speaker too. The haircut I got was cheap, but nothing like what I asked for.

The stylist cut so much off at the front that it was necessary to take off about 25cm at the back to keep it looking half-decent. I only really wanted a trim so this was a drastic measure, but the way it was made me look like a fool so I had no choice. I had beautiful long hair, and now I have shoulder length hair <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> well it's shoulder length on one side, slightly longer on the other. They couldn't even cut both sides evenly. When I told the stylist that he hadn't done what I asked him to do and that it wasn't even he just said it wasn't his problem. I guess his standards are so low it didn't even look bad to him.

Rating? 0/10 (I would give 1/10 if they had refunded some of my money).

Now, does anyone have any tips for how to make my hair grow faster!?
LOL um, drink milk? Maybe you didn't ask properly because a lot of people who go there get very good results, aka me! and my frineds. Maybe you should've showed them with your fingers how much you want to get cut, as if any body is that dumb to cut 25cms. And isn't it rude to say his standards are so low? I think you are just too picky woman lol and you are aussie, go to an aussie salon if you are going to complain about how bad people's english is. If you go to an asian country, see how hard it is for you. Give some respect will you? Orange has people who can speak english very fine, you should've asked if there is anybody speaking english there. It's just your own fault your hair got messed up.

She is not an aussie. She said she is from China! Be nice or go away.

Thanks glen!!Well i washed my hair today ..couldn't wait till 72hours..they turned out pretty good!!i'm really happySmile..Last time i had my TR done from Pakistan & it costed me 100$ which was amazing..I was clueless what to do when i came to melbourne..I was switching back & forth between the keratin straightening and chemical straightening..I didn't know that hair rebonding is called thermal reconditioning/japanese hair straightening over here!!and in the end i decided to go for keratin hair treatment that would have costed 400$ but it wud have lasted for 3-4 months only...But i must say thanks to this forum and the vogue forums that i came to know about the TR treatment and that korean hair dressers do it cheaper than any other salons..tony & guy is charging 250-300$ an hour fot TR and its a 5hr treatment..another salon said that they wud charge me roughly 700$...but thanks glen for giving the info about various korean hair salons..and personally i would definitely recommend Good morning Boxhill..they did superb job..would call them too!!

To TINCAL

hi.. im living in usa but am in pakistan at the moment in karachi.. ive ben going crazy looking for a place for the genuine rebonding or japanese hair straightening or thermal reconditioning..

i do have dyed , highlighted / bleached hair... and in usa , the salons use japanese systems like liscio or yuko for tr or japanese rebonding straightening.. but are expensive..

in pakistan evry "salon" offers :"rebonding" but it sems they are blank when asked what product they use .. they usually say shwarkzkopff ( ive never heard of their rebonding product) .. or loreal extenso.. which is actually a relaxer and not a permanant straightener.. its keratin like the brazilian thing but temporary..

so my question is.. which salon did you use for your treatment .. what product did they use? and what was the cost?

im s desperately looking for a good salon and my budget is $200 to $250 but i really want the real treatment espcially since my hair is highlighted and coloured and bleached before..

Could you reply and help soon? Thanks a lot!!!!!

hey,

yea in pakistan they either use shwarkzkopff, loreal or keune products..but trust me the one i got done from pakistan was way better than what i got done here..in pakistan they do a protein treatment 1st which is very effective....i'm thinking to get mine done again from pakistan...to be honest i don't know about khi as i got mine done from islamabad..but i know the places in lahore and isb who do a superb job..i got mine done from Mooshaz in pindi and it was very cheap costed me $80 and my hair are medium length ...Muniba's in lahore is also good ..one of my friends who just came from pak got it done from there.her hair were long and costed her around$200 and they look more glossier than mine...i've no idea about khi though but check this forum www.paklinks.com/gs/

search the gupshup forums and surely u'd find good and cheap hair straightening salons in karachi by browsing there...best of luck with that!

Hi.. any suggestions would be helpful for me.. i have extremely fizzy hair.. I have straightened my hair a lot .. I don't know wat you call it but it was with shisedo... I used to do it in Sydney at a Korean hair dresser and they were just the best.. but now I want to do a treatment only as I want to keep the shape but not the fizzy texture. they would be dead straight for a couple of days but after a week or so they they'd be good ..just blow dry them after u take shower abd usea keratin complex conditioner for after care..best of luck..

I just had my hair chemically straightened (Japanese straightening) at West End Hair salon on Chapel st in Melbourne and my hair looks amazing. The staff is so friendly, location is great (across from Windsor station). More importantly my hair is dead straight and it was curly. West End Hair is located at 48 Chapel st, Melbourne and the number is 03 9510 6437 or their site is www.westendhair.com. I highly recommend this place! Ask for Kuni! He's amazing and from Japan!

And just a intelligence of opinion repayment for those that are looking at the gowns - not all styles are that well made. When you are shopping or having your gown tailor-made, log in investigate the major seams and hems etc because off they are exceedingly dodgy.

I haven't started looking still, but those are definitely on my record to see!! I've heard they're glorious

Although dressing nicer is getting more well-received with guys these days, I don't be acquainted with if I would like a fellow taking more metre into shopping and creating a apparel than me. I think that the furthest you should conform with each other is buying courteous things, If a gink makes it have all the hallmarks like he planned his outfit the day in front, it kinda loses newness (looking for a want of a more wisely name). But i hold nothign against metrosexuals in general, and good in return the guys who are.
