Are There Any Spiritualists Here?
#1
I attend my local Spiritualist Church and was just wondering if there are any others on this forum who attend their local Spiritualist church. I would love to compare notes on the lectures and guest mediums that perform at the various churches.

I've just registered because I wanted you to know that there *are* Spiritualists of course here in Melbourne who go online at time. I'm more used to seeing them in newsgroups (there is one out of melboune) but I personally haven't found, so far, any good Spiritualist discussions online. Still looking myself. I used to attend Spiritualist church in Melbourne (city centre) and know there are others in different suburbs, but more than that I can't share with you. Sorry.

Although this post comes very late after yours, I just wanted you to have more positive feedback about your question.

Each to his/her own.

Probably more than just a regular church, where it's members are seeking or have experienced Astral Projection and regularly meditate etc and need or are searching for more answers than the usual "your crazy" line by other institutions.

Hi. Just thought I'd let you know, I don't consider myself as a spiritualist but I do enjoy going to their services. I attend one in Seaford. I've only been there once as I just moved here. It was an exellent service tho I thought the demonstration was still a bit questionable. Its seems its really difficult to get genuine good demonstrators especially if you've seen the best, and with out moderation intended I know some of the best in Australia, and I say that again not as an ego thing ( I have also worked with them so I am talking from first hand experience) but sincerely because there, in my opinion seem to be a lack of good quality medium/ demonstrators. Its not a fault with the church but just what it is.

Maybe in the future there will be more.

AND FOR THOSE WHO DON"T KNOW WHAT A SPIRITUALIST CHURCH IS... its basically an organisation who attempt to 'prove' or 'demonstrate' that life after death exists by use of a 'demonstrator'. 'Demonstrators' are sensitive and clarevoyant people who have skills which enable them to communicate with those 'passed' over. The reason they attempt to 'prove' is so that people who have lost a loved one can find peace that all is not lost and their loved one continues to exist. I don't care whether you believe or not but I would recomend being open to this kind of thing as one day we all have to face many questions about life and death. The spiritualist church is one avenue that I feel does that successfully.
