Malcolm Turnbull
#1
Malcolm Turnbull appears to be running out of time with his latest faux pas in dealing with Godwin Grech... shame, I kinda like Malcolm, he is feisty.

I seriously doubt that Malcolm will last to the next election although I can't really imagine any current front bench Liberal that would stand a chance without serious foibles on the part of Labour. The Liberals will have to pull their very own Kevin Rudd out of the wood works to stand a chance come election time.

Do you guys think Malcolm Turnbull will last till the next election?... and who do you think is an appropriate successor to Malcolm?

When I heard Kevin Rudd today saying that Malcolm should resign it was clear to me that Rudd is an a slimy dog and a scum bag. I will never vote for him again! <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' /> I don't think Malcolm did anything wrong. I think I will vote for whoever the "other guy" is. Whether it be Malcolm or someone else <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='^_^' />

Kevin Rudd might just be a good one term Prime Minister... any more than one term is bound to morph Rudd into a complete power hungry tyrant.

Malcolm Turnbull did do something wrong... he allowed himself to get conned. Leaders must not put themselves in positions so easily compromised considering the repercussions of having diplomatic and sovereign leaders in place of public servants.

I might just do some research and vote for whoever is the best local representative regardless of party affiliation at the next election, or Kevin Rudd (again) if he appears to settle.

I mean to say that our leader should not be so easily conned by the heads of other states as Malcolm was by a public servant since repercussions of being conned in the global arena would be a great deal worse than bad publicity. Malcolm's judgement appears to have been to easily clouded over the thought of political point scoring... of course, this is all just my opinion.

Yeah I hear you. Though I still think that you should be able to trust a senior public servant without having to dig too deep. I wonder what will happen to the guy. It was be a joke if he got to keep his job in the public service.
