Rmit Redbacks Cheerleading Try-outs On Tuesday 11th & 18th Of August

Attention all RMIT Students/Alumni & Non-RMIT Affiliated individuals.

It's that time of the year again that the RMIT University REDBACKS Cheerleaders are looking to increase their numbers for their upcoming State and National Championships.



Cheerleading is a high-intensity sport combining DANCE, STUNTS, TUMBLING, and spirited cheering, making it a highly entertaining performance!





So far this year we've competed in two competitions and most recently in the Auscheer – Cheer For A Cure, taking out 1st place in Senior Cheer division of level 4.2.



Past cheerleading experience isn't required, whether you're a gymnast, dancer, athlete of any background or just plain enthusiastic, you are most welcome to tryout.



What are you waiting for?



When: August 11th & 18th, 2009



Where: Melbourne Music Academy 53 Victoria St, Melbourne 3000 (Cnr Elizabeth St, across from Queen Vic Market) (Big brick building with big roller door!)



Time & Cost

Squad Try-Outs: From 8pm

Cost: $7.50



Dress sporty, wear runners, and bring water!

An Update to tryouts:



Instead of the Tryouts being held on only the 11th & 18th of August. The tryouts have now been extend to the end of the year, and will be held on every Tuesday. Please refer to the main post for more detail.
