Inserting Files
#1
[color="#8B0000"]Hello Glen.

I have inserted a few small files into some posts.

Now I find that I have only 4KB s free to insert more!

At the start I thought there was 300 - 400 KB s. (Even that is pretty mingy).

So if I have used my space up, how do I recover it for use again?

I see below "manage Attachments" but it shows no current attachments! Hmmmmnnn.

It also shows I have almost no space left!

Well I did look in the instructions but I confess to being blind as well as dumb! Help!

Is that the same Manage Attachments page you'd seen, Peter?

I upped the limit by 100 times (to 50mb). Let me know if you get close to the new limit <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

You guessed correctly, Peter.

The Duck is more likely than not posting image links rather than embedded attachments.

Yep in which case they actually sit on another server so they are not counted in a limit. I would have upped the limit earlier but no one complained so I had no idea it was set so low! <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> Sorry!

So far I only banned spammers. I think we have been lucky so far. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />
