Yah they did! i was at a house party near southbank and we went down just before midnight and it was POURING with rain at midnight, we all got SATCHED ... was kinda fun though - very lame fireworks tho.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! May this year be a much better one for ALL of us! 2009 will go down as one of the biggest of my life.

BTW, when i was hungitng for rooms, i got a woman who was offering me a room but it was a bit further from dandenong.. the lady was a pornstar i believe.... I would have definitely moved in if she was living there full time but she said that she was hardly at home.

The NYE pool party i was at got rained out soon after we all hit the pool. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' /> the storms came in from the west and apparently rained out Lorne nice and early at about 6-7, we were hit at about 8-9pm.

Carnegie is a nice area; i lived in Murrumbeena for a few years.

See how long you last in a pool with nearby lightening strikes... we actually stayed in the pool when the clouds came, when the wind came, when the rain came, we even stayed in the pool with distant lightening... but half the pool emptied as soon as the lightening strikes were nearby, shortly followed by the other half (no points for guessing which half i was in).

OK.... i guess you are in the first half to exit the pool!
