Newbie Not At Home

Hello fellow Melburnians and friends from far and inbetween. My name is Daniel in english or in Chinese Danier (Mandairin).



I live in the south-eastern suburbs and are currently absent and missing Melbourne very much. I have spent the last 5 weeks in China and have another 2 and a half to go before I return home to some much needed western food and english conversation.



Visiting a foreign country with little understanding of the local langauge can be daunting. I visited China two years ago for 3 months returned to Australia to prepare for my next visit by paying for a year long Hanyu (Chinese) TAFE course, it helped but damn I need to study harder!



So a cheerio and a ho ho ho to everyone out there.
