#1
Hi all, I'll be heading to Melb for vacation in April for 7 days. Wish to make new friends here than in April we all can hang out. I'm basically a gym freak, and I do hang out just to be a mammal. I believe Melb will have a few outdoor event's in April and hope can meet every one that I know there. cheers

Awesome shoulders‼

How do you get shoulder like that?... i've only been seriously bulking up for a short while with push-ups, a few different types of sit-up and a bunch of different dumbbell resistance training and my biceps are getting much larger than my shoulders (so much so that only recently i dropped one of the two bicep techniques i perform) but i want my shoulders to be bigger... just like you have going on. Is it all just a down to as many shoulder related resistance training as can be mustered or is a particular shoulder techniques required?

Thanks Peter, a happy snap excerpt from the Melbourne City Romp.

I want bigger shoulders and want my arms to match my large frame, particularly the shoulders.

Concentrating on technique is probably what i've been lacking, some benefits should be evident in the next few weeks with a more slower controlled technique for the eccentric motion (the muscle extending) while incorporating bursts for the concentric motion (the muscle contraction) that i've begun just today.

You look like you are wearing a Canadian outfit! <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> Red and white. Almost like the winter games.

Peter, CTRL + F5 re-loads a web page from a web site's server rather than from a web surfer's machine's cache, ensuring that content is re-freshed.

Thx for that.. I train & eat Hard, Im a competitive bodybuilder in Malaysia. Shoulder are consider a small muscle, to hit those muscle it is better to do a volume training that is high repetition. It will help to pump more blood in the muscle and reduce the chance to be injured

BTW, ill be heading to MELB on 25April, hope to see you guys and more girls there.. lol cheers

Thanks Kmaru,

I had to look up volume training and came across the German Volume Training technique this web site: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/luis13.htm, and have decided to start with super-sets only with the dumbbell lateral raise technique 'cause my current resistance training session takes 2 hours to complete and that's with only 3 sets of 7 reps of max-weight, there is not enough time in the day to super-setting my entire routine.

Thanks again for you advice, Kmaru.

Thanks Peter, exrx.net is the best site for technique demonstration. All my shoulder techniques come from exrx.net... 'cept for a couple of additional techniques where the angle of the dumbbells are altered by 90 degrees during shoulder press and front raises movements.

Nice find‼
