Greetings!

Hello all!

I'm a newbie here and have just found out that in Internet Explorer I can actually type in this box, whereas on Mozilla Firefox I couldn't. For the most part I thought Firefox was the more superior but sometimes it now seems that Internet Explorer is better. hmmm..

Anyways, thought I'd join this forum as my current plans are to move to Melbourne towards the end of this year. I'm actually from Perth, am currently living in London but heading back to Aus in october. I've been to Melbourne a few times and love it! I'm hoping theres some food discussions in this forum coz im a real foodie and love talking all things food. Even if its something I don't like/don't want to try, im more than happy to discuss why I wouldn't want to eat something to great lengths <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> I'm also keen to know hidden treasures around Melbourne so maybe I can get up on that info through the knowledgeable people here.

That's my intro done I guess. So, a big hello! And hope the weather's being nice in Melbourne at the moment!

Joss

I actually think you'll find Google Chrome is even MORE superior, and it's a quick download and super easy to use!

We've had a nice couple days of weather ... last week the cold hit hard, there was even snow on some of our mountain areas (i know this because i saw it with my own two eyes! *excitement*)
Hi Joss and Iblis.

I use Google Chrome as well.

I think IE is a little better however.

So far I have not been able to load any extra smilies into Chrome.

They always seem to load by default into IE, even if I tell them otherwise.

I use Chrome because my wife has IE open to her home page.
haha, guess im not the only chrome lover

I have just installed Windows7 and now I am back with IE 8.

We don't have a conflict now as she is on another drive with Vista and IE 7.

I still think IE is slightly better!
I personally always loved Safari .... until it kept glitching on me, now i live by Chrome ... it's much faster, better looking n easier to use in my opinion...
