Mansfield Info Needed

Hi there.....

Anyone know a little town called Mansfield in Vic??? I would really appreciate some info into the highs and lows of living there....would love to hear about the little hospital there (i am a nurse!!) and would be hoping to get a job there...have 3 kids so need to know about what the primary and high school is like....is there a soccer club?? U12s training and where is the nearest swim pool??? Whats the weather like year round..(we are from the UK) have been in Perth for past few yrs...too hot for us for too long in the year... We are passionate skiers and have missed the ski for several years now hence the choice of Mansfield.. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/gathering.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ...All info welcome please as need to know what we would be in for....many thanks Mel x

hi mel, i have been there a couple of times but don't know the town very well. i know it is a bit of a ski town in winter though actually it is not that close to my buller. it is near lake eildon which used to be good for fishing though i think the lake it quite low lately since they have not had that much rain. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> but it did rain yesterday!! <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

did look at that site and it makes Mansfield look gr8, (to me)....wonder if its really like that ???
