Well Done Senator Milne
#1
I know most of you hate the Greens.

Like a good boy I have kept away from the site I believe I wrote many posts on melbourne attractions and history.

But it was made clear by the relentless bullying by the resident red neck that we are not wanted.

But let me just say.

Senator Milne took over the leadership of the Greens having to follow in the footsteps of a remarkable man.

Bob Brown gave so much to Australia, saving the beautiful Franklin being one of them. He created a party that this and many disenfranchised and disappointed Labor voters joined. I joined because I was sad that the conservatives and labor were pretty luke warm on issues that really mattered to me. Marriage equality was the highest on my agenda. I believed in immediate action on climate and the other parties were not really representing my ideals.

Christine Milne was a gutsy impressive leader. She was afraid of nothing. She got the usual taunts that Gillard got, the vicious sexist rubbish sadly I used to read here.

I don't come to this site often, sad really because I used to love it.

I feel the site is now dominated by the right.

Adam Bandt has not put a foot wrong in his Melbourne seat. He is especially popular with the business sector. A green? Yes indeed. He will be impressive.

Christine will be remembered well.

Hi there.

Well I must confess I did not expect that but having heard the new team yesterday speak ...crikey what a talented bunch they are.

No leadership fights in the Greens unless the other two.
