Victorian Parks Going To Have Free Entry - Parks Victoria

I just word that entrance fees have been abolished for the following Victorian National Parks managed by Parks Victoria:



* Wilsons Promontory National Park

* Point Nepean National Park

* Werribee Park

* Mount Buffalo National Park

* Baw Baw National Park

* Mornington Peninsula National Park

* Yarra Ranges (Mount Donna Buang)

* Coolart Wetlands and Homestead

* National Rhododendron Gardens

* William Ricketts Sanctuary



Hooray!!!



Free entry to these national parks kicked in on 1 July 2010.

that's awesome news!!!!! not that it's ever kept me away before! I haven't been to some of those places. Hang on, so does this mean in this snow season you don't pay to get up Mt Buffalo, Baw Baw and Donna Buang!!!!?????

This is indeed great, great news. I had been deterred to visit some of the listed parks because I have to fork out quite a large sum of money for a family.
