Irony
#1
So just a couple of days ago i thought to myself 'you know what? i am actually content being single for the first time in my life' and i made a choice that i won't go out hunting for a relationship for a while and i took my profile of a dating site i was on. Since then i have had numerous guys i know admit they're interested in a relationship with me! Irony is a funny thing .... is it trying to tell me something?

Kara.

Do you believe in Karma?

Ironically, irony and karma are related.

I seem to be more and more open to the concept these days. It makes life seem more positive in every outcome if you look at it as happening for a reason

How is Irony and Karma "related"

Standard definition of Irony:

"Irony
(from the Ancient Greek εἰρωνεία eirōneía, meaning dissimulation or feigned ignorance)[sup][1][/sup] is a rhetorical device, literary technique, or situation in which there is an incongruity or discordance that goes beyond the simple and evident meaning of wordsIrony (from the Ancient Greek εἰρωνεία eirōneía, meaning dissimulation or feigned ignorance)[sup][1][/sup] is a rhetorical device, literary technique, or situation in which there is an incongruity or discordance that goes beyond the simple and evident meaning of words or actions. or actions."

'Karma' is an Indian religious conceptwhich view all human dramas as the will of God as opposed to present—and past—life actions

I do see the correlation here. The more westernised definition of Karma, i.e. what goes around comes around, or "you shall reap what you sew" which is ripped from early christians view's of Jesus' writings has some bearing but can be easily dismissed with a bit of rational thought.
