What's The Invader In Tomorrow When The War Began

I saw the movie last weekend. It's very Australian. Does anybody else see that?



I am just curious about the enemy who invades Australia in the movie. Who are they? Probably from Asia?

I am new to the online world and I can't resist to stick my two-bob's worth in here.

I went to a young authors seminar day a while ago and John Marsden (who wrote the book series) was one of the speakers. He was asked the very same question and his reply was something along the lines of....



that he never actually says who it is that is invading australia- mainly to avoid any amniosity from people of other nationalities, nor did he want to make it an exact country because the book is fictional afterall. Just like the places in the book/movie are fictional towns based on real places in victoria/south australia. It is assumed however that that invaders are from an asian country.



I hope this answers your question, or perhaps raises more! I love these books and the movie was pretty good as well.

I think it was filmed in Nsw and based there as well. My reasoning for that is that they play rugby league in a scene!
