That's not true - you can call yourself anything you like - however inaccurately!

I haven't owned an Alfa - would a Ferrari be OK, or a Bugatti, or a 1928 Plymouth?

Haven't read the start but I'll comment anyway

From what I understand America wanted to sue VW?   Are any of the people that own a VW going to see that money?

Quote:and what was the question ?

what do Alfa/Fiat have to do with VWs and AUDIs emission cheating devices anyway?

go Aloy, stick up for the underdog VAG as they emit billions of tons of illegal pollution into the atmosphere, charging prices for cars based on performance figures only obtainable by switching off their emissions controls

was that your point ? "what about the others"

:rundog:

This was the question:

This is your translation:

'go Aloy, stick up for the underdog VAG as they emit billions of tons of illegal pollution into the atmosphere, charging prices for cars based on performance figures only obtainable by switching off their emissions controls'

The obvious question would have to be... if your vehicle's emission control doesn't work, should it pass a rego check given it's technically now illegal to drive?

"In the post 27a chew 'o' chew era you just pulled all the pipes out and reset your timing and your car might be able to pull the head off a beer... lol"

Quote:btw, at least Italy has a motor vehicle industry :bee:

doing quite well too

not involved in any emissions scandal, not caught cheating and more importantly still winning races and staying more than competitive

not to mention the future

actually i think Czechoslovakia has a healthier motor car industry than uzz at the mo :Cowboy:

... pardner

Are Skoda's made in the Czech republic?

There is no Czechoslovakia anymore.

Actually I'm quite happy to buy vehicles that other folks feel they need to subsidise - pure self interest of course.

Momentary aberrations.

Trucks use diesel - it's always going to be the prime carbon fuel.
