Hey guys, i know that feeling so well and getting sick of it... Boredom... Loneliness things that every migrant has to face in a new country... Why don't we just arrange a meet up or something. We sure have a lot of thing to share, especially people from different cultures and nationalities. I live in south east suburbs. We surely Keen to meet new people but don't know where to start right?

Yea it can really be tough coming to a new city with few or no friends. Even after living here for quite some years, i haven't had the chance to hang out with that many new people. Many friends have left for overseas

and stuff too. Work also makes time to meet new friends hard. However there's always a start if one is willing to put in the effort to socialise! Please msg me or email me gn7799@gmail.com as i'm interested to meet

new friends!!

Hey Guys...

I'm thinking of going for a wine tour or great ocean road (heard so much about it!!), melbourne zoo, museum (i know it may sounds boring but I do like Museum <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />)......but it's no fun going alone....

We could start with brunch somewhere.... I'm not very familiar with the place though.... i live near the city so anywhere that is accessible by tram/train would be great!

Awesome! I stood at the wrong side though.. didn't know that it was coming out from the other side of the river.. I was at the square and just looking at the small fireworks coming out from the top of the tower and thinking....you gotta be kidding me!

Finally followed the booming sound and discovered the other side!!! <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

Did anything come of this? I'm new to Melbourne and pretty much know nobody. I'm just here for about 2 months for work and while a cool and fun city, don't really have a crew to go explore. My work friends are nice people, but work and pleasure don't always mix. I live in Southern Melbourne, close to Southern Cross and there's plenty to do, from the limited bars/clubs I've seen. I'll tell you a little about myself and if it sounds like we have something in common, let's connect.

I'm 30, very social, intelligent, stay fit, and love new experiences. I'm currently living in Philadelphia, PA and currently work for for an asset manager. Let me know if you want to get together and we'll e-mail / chat.

Hi All.

I can see that many new people want to do exciting things in this city. But I think there is a lack of meeting place or point. Or am I missing something? How about we kick start something? Those who are interested can email me and I will organise for everyone to meet. Who knows, what we are looking for might be just in front of us. Hope to hear from you soon. lazymate@hotmail.com
