I dont think it's so much about "judging" others...
.......but a lot of us are on here in the hope of developing a network of friends (well...I am, anyway).
I'm a 55yrs old female. There won't be many 20yr old guys that want to hang out with someone old enough to be their mother! I could just save myself the bother and hang out with either of my two sons. Likewise, I wouldn't expect a guy in his 30's to want to come shoe shopping and then do a long lunch. Similarly, I'm not interested in fishing, camping, 4-wheel driving and drinking beers.
We judge, in the hope of finding people with whom we have things in common so we can enjoy each other's company and have fun sharing common interests.
It's that simple.
