Hi,
Just an introduction really!
Family of 5 on our way to Melbourne. Husband coming in January (as he's landed a good job) and me and kids following when house sold.
I've been really excited up until recently but now I've hit scared. I don't know if its coz J is coming first and I'm following later or that Melbourne is one of the places in Australia we haven't visited and yet it's where we're about to bring our kids to live to grow up???.
We're not sure where to look to find a home - you hear the east suburbs are the best - but I don't know?
All I want is good schools for the kids which aren't going to break the bank and somewhere ideally family oriented with views. I know I'd rather not have to get the kids into school and then move them again later.
As I said J is coming first and we're in a bit of a dilemma over initial accomodation.
Any comments/real life experience would be extremely helpful!
