"Navy cannot march in the dark!

SOMETHING is wrong when members of the Australian Navy are banned from marching in an Anzac Day dawn service owing to occupational health and safety concerns. What hope do they have of defending the country if the fear of âtripping in the darkâ during a march has their superiors in a flap?
If a peaceful march to mark the sacrifice of their predecessors is too dangerous, how will they cope under fire or when called upon to neutralise hostile adversaries?
Mind you, the Australian Defence Force has no qualms about members marching in the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade, and shares footage of this on its official website. Last time I checked, the Mardi Gras parade is at night. So why is it that is worthy while a traditional Anzac Day dawn service is too risky? Just what kind of woke simpletons are making these calls on behalf of the men and women who have signed up to serve their country?
I first read about this madness in a little publication called the South Coast Register, which reported that âin a break with tradition ⦠naval personnel wonât march at the Greenwell Point dawn serviceâ .
âIt is understood an occupational health and safety issue is the reason, with personnel not allowed to march in the dark due to safety concerns. One of the highlights of the dawn services at Greenwell Point is when current serving navy personnel join ex-Diggers in making the solemn 450 metre march from Greenwell Pointâs main street to Anzac Park overlooking the Shoalhaven River.
âMassive crowds always greet the march at Anzac Park â at the Anzac commemorations in 2015, it was estimated 10,000 people surrounded the park to witness the event,â the report said.
The report went viral and soon senators and former ADF personnel wanted answers.
Senator Concetta Fierravanti-Wells tweeted: âRita, @SenatorAbetz & I just asked questions about this! Details to be provided on notice but assurance given by (Chief of Navy Australia Michael Noonan) @CN_Australia that CO Albatross has come to an arrangement with RSL!â (HMAS Albatross is the naval air station).
The response from Defence only made it worse. A spokesman confirmed Navy personnel would not march, but would line up and wait for the march to arrive. âSafety was a factor in the decision not to march,â he said. âThe instruction to HMAS Albatross personnel, while different to what may have occurred in the past, has been provided cognisant of procedures traditionally observed by service personnel attending dawn services, and the particular physical and environmental conditions expected at Greenwell Point on April 25, 2019.â
This revelation follows earlier media reports that ADF brass have ordered their underlings to consider âgender perspectiveâ in everything they do. The insanity isnât restricted to the Navy: the same woke dogma is being drilled into other ADF personnel, including RAAF pilots who are told to consider âGender in Air Operationsâ . The Daily Telegraph revealed the doctrineâs foreword, by RAAFâs director of general strategy and planning, Stephen Edgeley, said embracing the âgender perspectiveâ would enhance operational capability.
âIf the military target is a bridge in a community that is being used as a main route by the enemy to transport weapons, this same bridge may also provide the only route for the local population to gather supplies such as water and firewood,â the doctrine says.
âAlthough destroying this target may provide a military advantage against the enemy, the secondorder effect may mean that, due to the gendered social roles, women need to travel further afield, on unfamiliar and less secure, wellknown or well-lit routes to gather water and firewoodâ , which could leave them at âan increased risk of sexual and gender-based violenceâ .
And last year we had ADF personnel encouraged to paint their fingernails pink to show their support for âequalityâ .
Itâs only a matter of time before woke warriors rename the ADF. Not only is âAustralianâ exclusionary but âForceâ suggests toxic masculinity. Even âdefenceâ is problematic, as any gender studies academic will tell you.
Perhaps we should call it The Inclusive Diversity Circle. Thatâs sure to scare the enemy.
Our security is in good hands.

Unfortunately thats how our sociality is becoming. Â
Very sad indeed Anzac day was always a day to remember and honour those that have fought and service for a country.
It has always been tradition that all those military units join in slowly we seem to be loosing alot of traditions and rights.Â
