Federal government frontbencher James McGrath has warned politicians to stop speaking like robots if they want to win elections.
"We've got to stop talking in the politician's gobbledegook that we're all guilty of," he told ABC radio.
"We put on a suit and something happens to the synapses in our brains and we start talking like the love child of a Dalek and an accountant - and it just doesn't make any sense."
