Ask any worker that lost money under workchoices and they'll confirm the statements are correct...
 
And here's a case where Turnbull doesn't understand the ramifications of lowering penalty rates...
 
His QT statement goes something like this...
 
“Businesses like McDonald's and Coles have reduced or removed penalty rates in exchange for other conditions like higher base rates of pay,”
 
“Now we will all enjoy and benefit from solutions that create a more flexible and dynamic 21st century economy. So really, it is time for the Leader of the Opposition to stop trying to frighten Australians into poverty.”

A Coles supermarket worker has taken legal action to stop an employment agreement between the supermarket giant and the union representing retail workers, claiming it would leave tens of thousands of supermarket employees out of pocket.
 
Duncan Hart, who works at a Coles supermarket in Brisbane, has lodged an appeal with the Fair Work Commission, asking it to reconsider its approval of the enterprise bargaining agreement which would cover 77,000 Coles employees across Australia.
 
The agreement, negotiated between Coles, the Shop Distributive and Allied Employees Association (SDA) and other unions, mandates a higher hourly base rate for supermarket workers, but cuts penalty rates for weekends and nights.
 
Mr Hart argued this left a substantial proportion of Coles' workforce worse off than if they were paid under the existing award.

This new agreement obviously doesn't benefit workers and should be scrapped and redone.
 
It's a bad reflection on Coles and that union, and also a bad reflection on Turnbull for endorsing it in question time.

Ok, so, you don't agree, there is no agreement, it doesn't happen.

That's the law.

So how is the above scenario possible then?
